Job Title: Inventory Control Data Analyst
Location: Denver, CO 80238 (1-2 days onsite)
Job Type: Contract through 2/1/2026 with potential for extension or conversion
OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our inventory focused supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in data analysis with a strong command of SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. This role will play a critical part in turning complex data into actionable insights to drive decision-making for a major supply chain modernization initiative.
Key Responsibilities- Extract, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to support supply chain operations
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate key trends and KPIs
- Write complex SQL queries to access and manipulate structured data from relational databases
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver insights to improve supply chain efficiency
- Perform root cause analysis of supply chain issues using historical and real-time data
- Develop recurring reports to monitor inventory, vendor performance, lead times, and service levels
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data modeling and predictive analytics
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across reports, dashboards, and databases
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst role, ideally within a supply chain, logistics, or operations setting
- Advanced SQL skills, with experience querying and transforming large data sets
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- High attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
- Background in forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply planning analytics
