Qualifications:

Basic:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration given for three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of IT experience.

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Big Data space.
• Strong Hadoop skills:
  Map Reduce, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Oozie.
• Hands-on experience with Java, APIs, Spring.
• Exposure to No
  
  SQL databases like HBase.
• Experience with high-volume, high-velocity projects end-to-end.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Scala or Python.
• Knowledge of Big Data architectures.
• Framework building experience on Hadoop.
• Understanding of the Big Data ecosystem.
• Experience in sizing and estimating large-scale Big Data projects.
• SQL tuning and database knowledge.
• Experience with Impala and Apache Parquet data format.
• Background in ETL and data warehouse projects.
• Experience with Spark and Flume.

• 16+ years of experience as a Big Data and Analytics Architect.
• Experience with real-time data ingestion using Kafka, Spark, CEP engines, Storm, and Hadoop stack.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience in tool evaluation, architectural roadmap, and governance frameworks.
• Managing large Big Data platforms, performance tuning, and cluster management.
• Ability to conduct workshops and solution reviews with stakeholders.
• Experience in managing Big Data and BI applications.

  SQL databases, statistical modeling, and analytics tools like R, SAS, Spark ML.
• Proficiency in data architecture, marts, and dimensional modeling.
