Cryogenics Scientist at Maybell Quantum

Maybell Quantum is a venture‑backed startup focused on quantum computing hardware. We’re looking for an experienced Cryogenic Scientist to lead the design, development, and production of cryogenic hardware, especially dilution refrigerators.

• Provide leadership in the conception, design, development and manufacture of cryogenic hardware.
• Design and conduct experiments to test modifications to existing components and prototypes to increase performance, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production‑ready products.
• Work across functional areas (cryogenic, electrical, software) to deliver fully integrated products.

• PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8 years designing, building, or significantly modifying dilution refrigerators.
• Self‑starter with ability to drive results independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Base Salary $100,000 – $150,000 per year, plus equity and bonus.
