Position Summary

University Information Systems (UIS) provides technical services and enterprise applications to the University of Colorado campuses and the Office of the President. UIS is committed to excellence in customer service and technical expertise. Through the development of enterprise applications, UIS supports the University systems used by students, faculty, Human Resources employees, Finance employees, and others.

The Senior Research & Grants Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the University of Colorado’s post‑award research administration through a deep understanding of and hands‑on experience with both the People Soft Grants suite (GM, PC, CA, BI, AR) and the Info Ed electronic research administration (eRA) platform. This position is responsible for identifying and implementing technology solutions that align with institutional research goals, campus‑specific strategies, and compliance requirements.

Leveraging dual‑system expertise, the analyst will analyze, design, configure, and test People Soft Grants modules, while also supporting and optimizing Info Ed applications. A key responsibility is ensuring smooth integration and data flow between People Soft and Info Ed systems, enabling accurate reporting and efficient workflow management. The ideal candidate will have the versatility to translate complex business requirements from all four University of Colorado campuses into effective solutions.

The role reports to the Assistant Director of Grants IT Services and is exempt from the State of Colorado Classified Staff System.

Where You Will Work

Applicants must be Colorado residents or be able to relocate to Colorado within a month of starting employment with University of Colorado System Administration.
Remote – this role is eligible to work remotely within Colorado.
Please note, leadership may adjust in‑office work requirements with a minimum of three months’ notice before any change can be implemented.
