The Role

Lumen Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Specialist III – Video Surveillance Support Specialist to join our team. The Video Surveillance Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and security of video surveillance systems. This role involves building, monitoring, and maintaining Network Video Recorder (NVR) servers, providing frontline support, and performing firmware updates and maintenance for video surveillance platforms and hardware.

The specialist will manage the system health of these platforms, conduct quality control checks, and troubleshoot service, hardware, and network issues.

Additionally, the role includes performing monthly Windows updates and providing cross‑trained security application support. The specialist will work closely with the Senior Video Security Specialist to ensure all video surveillance systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.

Location

This is a hybrid position, the work location is 5325 Zuni St, Denver, CO.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Build out, monitor, and maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) servers
  • Responsible for frontline support, programming, firmware updates, and maintenance of video surveillance platforms and hardware
  • Manage the system health of video surveillance platforms
  • Conduct quality control “Test and turn‑up” checks of NVRs and video hardware installations
  • Troubleshoot service, systems hardware, and network issues
  • Perform monthly Windows updates
  • Manage inventory and distribution of cellular‑based camera systems
  • Provide security application support (cross‑trained)

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$42,132 - $56,175 in these states: CO
