Atos Apprentice – Cybersecurity Center

Position Summary

Department Cybersecurity Center. This apprenticeship is designed to develop foundational skills in cybersecurity while working under experienced mentors, providing hands‑on experience with security technologies, risk assessment, threat analysis, and compliance. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow in the cybersecurity field, with a commitment to safeguarding digital assets and maintaining data security standards.

Paid, 12‑month Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) in cybersecurity leading to a full‑time SOC Analyst position. Apprentices must complete 2,000 hours of on‑the‑job training over 12 months. Wage starts at $22.00/hr, $24.20/hr at 25 weeks, $26.62/hr after milestones. Apprenticeship Completion: $26.62 Weekly. Authorized

• Phase 003 – Project SANDRINGHAM – Onboarding and Orientation
• Phase 004 – Project SANDRINGHAM – Step 001 OJT and RTI
• Phase 005 – Project SANDRINGHAM – Step 002 OJT and RTI
• Phase 006 – Project SANDRINGHAM – Step 003 OJT and RTI
• Phase 007 – Project SANDRINGHAM – Step 003 OJT and RTI (Transition to full‑time)

• Completed Activate Work IT Support and Security Fundamentals or TACT Cybersecurity Course.
• In‑depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst CySA+, iSC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+.
• Experience with incident response methodologies and tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM Radar).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Power Shell).
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
