Role OverviewWe are seeking a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in data and business analytics who can bridge technical execution with business understanding. The ideal candidate will excel at translating diverse business needs into scalable, well‑modeled data solutions and will take ownership of projects end to end. This role partners closely with analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted data assets that support executive and operational decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Build, optimize, and manage data models in Snowflake, ensuring performance, scalability, and analytics readiness
- Leverage dbt to develop, test, document, and maintain transformation logic following analytics engineering best practices
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions
- Implement and manage data governance practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources
- Partner with analytics and reporting teams to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to leadership
- Standardize and integrate data from multiple operational systems nto unified models for business scorecards and management dashboards
- Own projects from discovery through delivery, including technical design, validation, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Approximately 1–5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data analytics, or business analytics roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience working in data and/or business analytics environments
- Strong SQL proficiency (2+ years), including complex queries and performance optimization
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse
- Experience using dbt for data transformations, testing, and documentation (or equivalent analytics engineering frameworks)
- Strong data modeling skills and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Deep understanding of ETL processes and modern data pipeline architectures
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects rather than executing narrowly defined tasks
- Excellent communication skills, with experience interfacing directly with executives and clients
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on clear, maintainable documentation
- Experience supporting analytics, BI, and executive reporting use cases
- A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability for data quality and outcomes
