The 3PL Solution Architect will design scalable, reusable, and industry-standard integration architectures to streamline supply chain and logistics operations. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), third-party logistics (3PL) integrations, and EDI standards. The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions while acting as a bridge between IT teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design end-to-end, scalable, and reusable integration architectures connecting Oracle EBS with 3PL providers and external trading partners
- Leverage deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12+ (SCM, Order Management, Inventory modules) for standardized integrations
- Lead the design and governance of EDI integrations using ANSI X12 standards (850, 856, 940, 945)
- Create architectural blueprints, data flow diagrams, interface specifications, and technical documentation
- Apply strong functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM), Inventory Management (IM), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to executive leadership, business users, and IT teams
- Define and enforce enterprise integration standards and governance models
- Evaluate, onboard, and collaborate with 3PL vendors to ensure alignment with architectural standards
- 12+ years of experience in IT solution design or architecture roles with strong focus on logistics and supply chain integrations
- Deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12+ architecture and modules
- Mandatory experience with Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG)
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise integration platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Mule Soft, or Boomi
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and B2B gateway integrations
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience integrating Oracle EBS with Manhattan Associates WMS
- Experience with Tier‑1 WMS solutions such as Blue Yonder (JDA) or SAP EWM
- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern integration frameworks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
