Help Desk Analyst – JPS Tech Solutions

Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues for a fleet of over 2,800 desktops, 100+ laptops, and numerous networked devices across multiple state locations.
- Provide LAN support and assist with computer equipment throughout the state.
- Imaging and deployment of desktop systems using Ghost 8.0+ (Familiarity with Free Open Ghost (FOG) is a plus).
- Perform PC rebuilds, reconfigure user settings, and install new software releases of moderate complexity.
- Configure and maintain network components and PC hardware/software, and aid in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
- Set up terminal emulation software for host connections and other related duties as required.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors via phone or in person to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in help desk/customer support and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of computer networking and IT support.
- Proficient in desktop imaging and deployment tools.
- Must have Ghost 8.0 or higher experience.
- Experience coordinating network and system hardware/software upgrades.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Team‑work oriented with strong communication skills.
- Mobile Device Support – Proficient (4–6 years)
- Software Troubleshooting – Novice (1–3 years)
- Team Work – Proficient (4–6 years)
