Network Engineer

• 7 years of experience as a network engineer (Cisco, route/switch, BGP, overlay and underlay)
• Load balancer experience (very important). This team uses A10 and F5.
• Automation experience; this team uses Python for automation
• YAML (to define, configure, and automate network infrastructure)
• Git for network configurations

• Excellent communications kills
• Humble and hard-working personality

• Team works on implementations in the operations org
• Recent project was focused on DNS deployments
• Network configuration – very hands-on focused role
• As time goes on, automation will become more of a focus and the role will be deeper focused on Git and YAML files
• Working on a team of 40 engineers
• No on-call duties/requirements
