The National Western Center (NWC) is a reimagined 250-acre campus in Denver, Colorado with a vision to be the global destination for food and agricultural discovery. It is the new home of the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State University's Spur campus. But the future National Western Center isn't just new buildings. It's a destination unto itself. OpportunityNWC is in search of a talented House Systems Tech for the campus. The House Systems Tech will provide technical support, responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of a wide range of building and event technology systems. They will interface with all campus and building house systems to make sure that infrastructure is maintained and managed safely. This position will work with partners as needed and departments as well to make sure things are running smoothly and objectives established by the COO.

Responsibilities- Work with events to understand the campus/building needs for events, setting up, configuring systems
- Work with equipment and storage of that equipment, testing and managing maintenance
- Provide technical assistance to event organizers, presenters, and attendees troubleshooting any issues that may arise
- Managing technical systems related to video boards, in-house feeds, digital signage, and scoreboard systems
- Assist with Authority and Partner needs and interface of different buildings and their system
- Assist with real time technical support on event-day devices and any hardware
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong understanding of audio and video equipment, signal flow and troubleshooting, systems maintenance
- Flexibility to work event driven times to support those events
- An understanding of different microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, screens, digital boards, monitors, lighting and video cameras and application and maintenance of them.
- Experience in Arena, Convention, Stadium is helpful
- This role is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, lifting, bending for long periods of time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

This position can be performed through on-site work in Denver, Colorado.
Compensation rangeThe starting salary range is $25.00 - $27.00/HR
