Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Image Automation Engineer to design and implement automated solutions for creating and managing MacOS, Windows, and Linux images on AWS. This role involves leveraging tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform, and Python scripting to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable image provisioning across enterprise environments.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $70 - $80 / hr. w2

• Design, develop, and maintain automated processes for creating and managing MacOS, Windows & Linux images on AWS.
• Utilize configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
• Implement and manage automation scripts, preferably using Python.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure efficient and secure image provisioning.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in image management.

• 5+ years automating infrastructure in AWS with tools like Ansible, Packer and Terraform.
• 5+ years scripting and automation preferably with Python.
• 5+ years of configuration experience with MacOS, Windows and Linux systems.
• 1+ year using virtualization & containers would be huge plus.
• Experience troubleshooting OS and cloud infrastructure issues.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
