Role: Marketing Analytics & Optimization Specialist

Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Compensation: $140,000 - $185,000 depending on experience

Our mission at Electric Coin Co. (ECC) is to empower economic freedom, and to that end, we created and launched the Zcash digital currency in 2016. Today, along with other independent Zcash teams and developers, we continue to support Zcash through protocol and product developments.

ECC is also the creator of the Zashi app, a Zcash-powered mobile wallet built for private payments.

We are looking for a Marketing Analytics & Optimization Specialist who can turn data into clear insights that lead to measurable growth.

You will be the analytical engine behind our marketing organization, working directly with the Head of Marketing to understand what resonates with audiences, which initiatives drive results, and how we should optimize every aspect of our marketing to increase Zashi adoption and overall ecosystem engagement.

To grow adoption, we need to understand what truly resonates, not just what looks and sounds good. You will help us treat marketing like a science: form hypotheses, test, measure, and iterate.

Your work will help us:

  • And build a marketing organization rooted in evidence, not guesswork

You will be a foundational pillar of our new marketing team.

What You’ll Do

Analyze performance across all channels

  • Track performance across socials, websites, App Store listings, campaigns, and channels.
  • Identify which visuals, narratives, formats, and messaging produce the best engagement and downstream conversions.
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems that show what’s working in real time.

Connect marketing activity to user growth

  • Link marketing engagement to Zashi downloads, signups, and monthly active users.
  • Identify bottlenecks, leakage points, and high-performing channels.
  • Help us understand which narratives about Zcash and Zashi actually lead to user behavior, not just engagement.

Drive data-informed decisions

  • Recommend what we should do more of, iterate on, or stop doing entirely.
  • Surface high-leverage opportunities based on trends, performance, and experiments.
  • Quantify impact and provide clear rationale for prioritization.

Design + messaging optimization

  • Partner with our Sr. Designer to A/B test visuals (App Store, social assets, landing pages, etc.).
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to test copy variations, narratives, and content angles.
  • Use pattern recognition to identify what consistently resonates and help us replicate it.

Continuous experimentation

  • Run structured tests across formats, times, channels, and messaging.
  • Develop hypotheses and design controlled experiments to validate them.
  • Build a culture of iteration and data-driven learning.

Weekly reporting

  • Deliver concise, high-value weekly reports summarizing:
    • Key performance metrics
    • Trends in user behavior
    • Insights from experiments
    • Recommended actions
  • Create a clear picture of what’s moving the needle, and what isn’t.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Curiosity about technology & users

  • Interested in how privacy technology works and why people adopt products like Zashi.
  • Curious about human behavior, user journeys, and psychological drivers behind engagement.

Pattern recognition superpowers

  • You have an almost instinctive ability to spot trends, anomalies, and emerging patterns in data.
  • You love digging through numbers until the story becomes obvious.
  • Familiarity with experimental design (A/B tests, analysis methods, etc.).

Growth & analytics expertise

  • Experience working with marketing analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of acquisition funnels, retention metrics, and attribution.
