The OpportunityThe objective of our consulting risk services is to provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. We provide innovative solutions to our clients in the Power & Utilities sector to navigate regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, building confidence and trust.
YourKey Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant with 5‑10 years in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting within the sector. You will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, deep understanding of operational processes, and the ability to lead risk and controls project teams. Experience implementing or using ERP tools like SAP, Oracle, Maximo is required. You will operate as a fieldwork leader and assist clients in employing proper information systems and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
You will analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and assist other Risk professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.
- Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
- Drive risk and controls project teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- A bachelor's or master's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities, particularly Work Management, Asset Management, and/or Utility accounting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary and possess a valid passport.
- Relevant certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT.
- Non-certified hires must become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, base salary range $87,800 to $160,900, with higher ranges for NYC, Washington, CA.
- Flexible vacation policy and paid time off options.
- Hybrid work model: 40‑60% in‑person for external client roles.
