Solutions Engineer

• Develop subject‑matter expertise, discern client needs, and demonstrate Neo4j through workshops, demos, and solution architecture.
• Help Sales meet revenue goals by qualifying and validating opportunities from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, Partners, Product Management, and customers to deliver continuous value and a seamless onboarding experience.

• Advocate the business and technical value of Neo4j to customers and prospects.
• Lead the technology evaluation stage of sales cycles, including opportunity qualification, technical discovery, presentations, demos, proof of value, sizing, and technical decision documentation.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders, serving as trusted advisor and co‑creating reference architectures.
• Integrate Neo4j with customers’ existing architecture on AWS, Azure, GCP, or on‑premise environments.
• Stay current with Neo4j capabilities and third‑party integrations.
• Communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
• Participate in account‑based marketing events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Lead by example, fostering teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Travel as needed for account support and deal closure.

• 5+ years of customer‑facing experience in solutions engineering, sales, or similar roles.
• Experience with enterprise data architecture, analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.
• Familiarity with graph data technology; hands‑on experience with Neo4j is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with relational (SQL) and/or No
  
  SQL databases and at least one language:
  Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, C#.
• Track record of designing and implementing cloud data solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, or on‑premise.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences, including presentations and whiteboards.
• Business acumen to translate technical concepts into valuable outcomes.
• Passion for learning new technologies and driving change, especially in graph data.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with prioritization, pivoting, and problem‑solving skills.

Annual On‑Target Earnings Range: $160,000—$225,000 USD (US only). Additional compensation may include stock option grants, annual bonuses, and eligibility for Neo4j’s standard benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and specified leaves of absence.
