Summary:

Peregrine is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer with experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) in Denver, CO to work on DoD systems. Up to 50% travel may be expected. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

* Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
* Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written
* Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the environment

* In-depth understanding of databases, APIs, middleware, and data integration techniques
* Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective application solutions

* Knowledge of application security principles, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies

* Strong problem-solving, documentation, and technical communication skills, including the ability to support and advise stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline
* Seven years of specialized experience in Building Automation Systems
* Alternative experience requirements:
Master's degree in one of the following fields:
Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline and five years of specialized experience
* An Active Secret Security Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:
