SAP Project Manager

Client is looking for a SAP S/4 HANA Solution Architect – Utilities (IS-U). This role will design, govern, and validate end‑to‑end SAP solutions across the enterprise landscape with Clean Core principles, SAP BTP-based integration, and strong architectural governance to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions.

$115.00/hr - $120.00/hr

CIS Modernization – Multi‑year (initial contract with potential conversion)

• Back‑end billing, metering, and integrations (non‑customer‑facing)
• SAP S/4 HANA Utilities (IS‑U), SAP BTP, AWS
• Enterprise Architecture team, CIS program team, and system integrators

• Hybrid:
  Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday & Friday
• Preferred Locations:
  Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO
• Travel:
  Quarterly, as needed
• Hours:
  
  40 hours/week; core hours 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST

• Design and maintain end‑to‑end solution architecture for SAP S/4 HANA and integrated systems
• Define SAP integration and data access strategies using SAP BTP
• Establish and enforce SAP standards, best practices, and Clean Core principles
• Govern solution design through architecture reviews and design approvals
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and vendor teams across the CIS program
• Validate implementations to ensure alignment with approved architecture
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and compliance requirements
• Minimize custom development and manage exceptions when required

• 10+ years overall SAP experience
• 5+ years SAP S/4 HANA Utilities (IS‑U) experience
• 5+ years experience with SAP BTP and Integration Suite
• 3+ years experience integrating SAP with AWS environments
• Strong expertise in SAP integration patterns and hybrid architectures
• Proven experience in solution architecture and architectural governance

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• SAP certification (Solution Architect or Technology Professional)
• Experience with Dev Ops / CI‑CD, TOGAF, and LeanIX
• Prior utility industry experience

• SAP IS‑U process areas: FI‑CA, Billing, Meter Management
• SAP BTP:
  Integration Suite, Event Mesh, Data Sphere
• SAP‑to‑AWS integration and data movement
• Security, scalability, and performance architecture design

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Comfortable working independently and across multiple teams
• Accountable, collaborative, and delivery‑focused
