SAP S​/HANA Solution Architect

Locations: Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO.
Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday onsite).

Contract: 12 months.
Opportunity: Possible C2H.

Client is undertaking a major CIS modernization initiative, transitioning from a 25‑year‑old legacy billing system to SAP S/4 HANA for Utilities (IS‑U). This is a multi‑year, high‑visibility program. The SAP S/4 HANA Solution Architect will design and govern end‑to‑end solutions across SAP landscapes, ensuring alignment with SAP business processes and Clean Core principles. The role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4 technologies, integration via SAP BTP, and strong architectural governance capabilities.

• 10+ years SAP experience
• 5+ years SAP S/4 HANA Utilities (IS‑U)
• 5+ years SAP BTP and Integration Suite
• 3+ years AWS experience
• Expertise in SAP integration protocols and hybrid scenarios
• Strong architectural governance and solutioning skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience
• SAP Certified Solution Architect or Technology Professional
• Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, TOGAF, LeanIX
• Utility industry experience a plus

• SAP S/4 Utilities process streams (FICA, Billing, Meter Management)
• SAP BTP services:
  Integration Suite, Event Mesh, Data Sphere
• AWS integration and data movement
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance design

• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to articulate business value and technical detail
• Independent, accountable, and collaborative
• Comfortable working across teams and vendors
