The IT Intern role is an interdisciplinary role and will support Ready Foods’ vision of building a best-in-class infrastructure and smart manufacturing ecosystem. This role will support the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations. This position will report to the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide technical support for main offices and plants in both a legacy IT environment and the modern workplace consisting of office and plant networks, servers and application environments.
- Work closely with all various functional departments to implement operational requirements for new and existing IT systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify data-driven insights that contribute to process optimisation and improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a degree program in an Information Technology related field or pursuing a similar field of study.
- Knowledge of desktop systems, cybersecurity concepts, data analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to develop short duration projects.
- Experience solving technical problems and identifying opportunities to automate repetitive processes.
