Job Description / ResponsibilitiesThe Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of application and platform changes into production, with a strong focus on overnight maintenance windows where timing, accuracy, and risk management are critical. This role ensures that all code releases are properly scheduled, approved, and communicated in advance, and that deployment activities follow established processes, controls, and readiness checks.
The Release Manager works closely with development, QA, Platform Engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to confirm that release content is validated, dependencies are understood, and implementation plans are complete before any production activity begins.
During the maintenance window, the Release Manager serves as the central point of coordination for the release, guiding teams through deployment steps, monitoring progress against the release plan, and managing communication throughout the event. They help identify and resolve issues in real time, ensure rollback or contingency plans are ready if needed, and confirm that post-deployment validation is completed before the release is considered successful.
In addition to executing releases, the Release Manager supports continuous improvement by documenting outcomes, tracking risks and lessons learned, and refining release processes to improve reliability, efficiency, and cross-team coordination over time.

- Existing/ex-Charter contractors/FTE needs 6 months cooling period as per SoW.
- Add Linked In profile in the resume for better pre-screening (with candidate's consent)
- 4 days/week in client office is mandatory. Remote is not an option. Flexible to work during offshore overlapping hours in the morning.
