We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for Operations facilities. The successful candidate will support end-user computing devices, printers, networking equipment, and operational technology environments while following established technical procedures and service-level expectations.
This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations and site shift schedules.
Key Responsibilities End User Support- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktop systems
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments
- Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application-related issues
- Support user onboarding and workstation setup activities
- Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network-connected printers
- Perform basic networking troubleshooting, including connectivity and cabling issues
- Respond to equipment failures and restore service following documented SOPs
- Assist with asset management and equipment lifecycle activities
- Work assigned support tickets and service requests within SLA requirements
- Execute Change Management (CM) activities according to established procedures
- Respond to emergent technical events impacting site operations
- Escalate complex issues when resolution steps are unclear or require higher-level intervention
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience
- Experience with:
- Laptop imaging and deployment
- Printer troubleshooting and support
- Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
- Windows 11 operating systems
- Linux operating systems
- Experience working within a ticketing system environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow documented procedures and technical SOPs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Background supporting:
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with change management processes
