Oracle Integration Engineer

Salary: $97, per year

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
• 3–5 years of experience in integration, Oracle development, or cloud engineering, with demonstrated OIC delivery experience.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications using REST APIs, FBDI, and BI Publisher.
• Understanding of synchronous REST, event-driven, and batch/file integration patterns.
• Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience, using OCI Resource Manager or an equivalent tool.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
• Working knowledge of OCI cloud networking, identity, and security.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across a distributed UK/US team.
• Ability to work in line with the US Eastern Time Zone, with daily overlap across UK and US working hours.
• Preferred: OIC or OCI certification, such as OIC Professional, OCI Architect Associate, or OCI Foundations.
• Preferred: BICC (BI Cloud Connector) extract experience.
• Preferred:
  Exposure to Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) or Autonomous Data Warehouse.
• Preferred:
  Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) experience.
• Preferred: CI/CD pipeline experience with OCI Dev Ops, Git Hub CI, Azure Dev Ops, or similar.

  Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.

  Background in field service, logistics, dispatch, or data-intensive platforms.

• Build and maintain OIC integrations—including REST-based flows, orchestrations, and long-running processes with compensation—to connect Oracle Fusion ERP with the wider application platform, following agreed designs.
• Integrate Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including Financials, SCM, and HCM, through REST APIs; implement bulk and file-based patterns using FBDI and BI Publisher.
• Implement event-driven flows from Fusion business events through OIC and OCI Streaming into the Azure integration fabric.
• Create version-controlled deployment pipelines for OIC artifacts and automate promotion across environments.
• Monitor and report OIC capacity and message consumption against the agreed model, raising capacity risks early.
• Provision and operate OCI integration services—including IAM, compartments, Object Storage, Streaming, and vaults/secrets—as Terraform infrastructure-as-code through OCI Resource Manager.
• Implement observability using OCI Monitoring and Logging, add integration-level tracing, and support incident response for integration failures.
• Work with the clients Oracle ERP partner team to raise and track change requests, review integration specifications, and maintain shared runbooks.
• Automate operational and provisioning tasks with Terraform, Bash, and/or Python; document standards and runbooks.
• Support interoperability between OCI and Azure components alongside our Azure Dev Ops engineer.
• Deliver the Oracle-side integration build to designs agreed with the Integration Lead, with opportunities to take on more architectural ownership as the programme develops.
• Coordinate with our Integration Lead, Azure Dev Ops engineer, client technical stakeholders, and the clients Oracle ERP partner team.
