Data Scientist

World Wide Technology Holding, LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering end-to-end analytics and advanced analytics, including deep learning, to address customer business problems. In addition to supporting large-scale projects for clients, this role contributes to internal R&D capability development and helps translate analytical results into business recommendations.

• Location: Denver, CO (onsite)
• Salary: USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year
• Start date: Available for a start date between May and August 2026

• Support work involving large, complex data sets
• Take on difficult, non-routine analysis problems using advanced analytical methods as needed
• Perform end-to-end analysis
  , including data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations
• Work across advanced analytics areas such as deep learning and complex statistical data analysis
• Collaborate with clients in in-person meetings to support business recommendations using effective presentations and visual displays of quantitative information
• Support development of analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods/models to deliver business solutions for clients
• Research and develop internal capabilities to strengthen skills in latest data science developments and contribute to innovative solutions
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and data scientists on a range of business problems
• Contribute not only to customer-facing projects, but also to building internal R&D capability to maintain a data science edge

• Experience: 1-3 years of progressive experience in a related field
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering)
• Relevant experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or related roles (e.g., statistician, data scientist, data engineer), including internships
• Tools:
  
  Experience with statistical software such as R and Python
  , and database languages such as SQL
• Experience articulating business questions and using mathematical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data
• Experience translating analysis results into business recommendations
• Curiosity, humility, and openness to learn (a “Beginner’s Mind,” even with decades of professional experience)
• Demonstrated ability to select the right statistical tools for a given analysis problem
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated leadership and self-direction, with willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques
