Position Overview

SNI Technology is seeking a Dayforce HCM Analyst for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with an established organization in Aurora, Colorado. This individual will serve as the primary technical resource and system administrator for the Dayforce HCM platform, overseeing system configuration, security, troubleshooting, integrations, and ongoing application support.

The ideal candidate combines strong Dayforce technical expertise with a structured approach to system governance, change management, testing, and production support. This role will collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to maintain system reliability, protect data integrity, and continuously improve platform functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dayforce Administration: Own day-to-day platform administration, configuration, application security, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Change Management & Governance: Establish and support a cross-functional process for evaluating, prioritizing, approving, and implementing system enhancements using established SDLC and change-control practices.
  • Environment & Release Management: Oversee non-production environments and configuration promotion processes, ensuring changes are properly developed, tested, documented, approved, and deployed.
  • Production Support: Coordinate issue resolution across HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, IT, and external partners, including root-cause analysis, escalations, retesting, and issue closure.
  • Integrations & Data Integrity: Partner with IT data teams and business stakeholders to support integrations, troubleshoot data-mapping exceptions, and maintain accurate payroll, general ledger, job-costing, and operational reporting.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and coordinate testing practices for system fixes and enhancements, including requirements gathering, test scenarios, regression testing, business acceptance, and release readiness.
  • Application Security & Compliance: Manage role-based access, least-privilege permissions, segregation of duties, user provisioning and deprovisioning, periodic access reviews, and audit readiness.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain system configuration documentation, mapping specifications, support procedures, and knowledge articles while facilitating knowledge transfer from external implementation partners to internal teams.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Work with HR and IT support teams to establish clear ownership, provide administrator training, and improve support processes across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
  • Platform Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and expand Dayforce capabilities through controlled, scalable, and supportable enhancements.
  • Upgrade & Release Readiness: Manage major and minor Dayforce releases by reviewing release notes, assessing business impacts, coordinating regression testing, tracking defects and approvals, and validating critical payroll, security, integration, and business processes following production upgrades.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting the Dayforce HCM platform.
  • Strong understanding of HCM system configuration, application security, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Experience managing system enhancements through structured change control, SDLC processes, and release management.
  • Knowledge of software testing practices, including regression testing, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and release validation.
  • Experience supporting integrations, data mapping, and downstream data flows between enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of role-based access controls, least-privilege principles, segregation of duties, and access governance.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and IT.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
