Based in Littleton, CO, Epoch works closely with industry leaders such as Cisco, HPE, Dell Technologies, Netscout, and Palo Alto, focusing on Federal Systems Integrators, USG, and Commercial Communities. • Comfortable engaging with customers and participating in technical conversations.
• Collaborative and able to work effectively with teammates, customers, and vendors.
• Serve as the dedicated Sales Support Engineer for Epoch’s Air Force, Space Force, and Army account teams, partnering closely with the assigned sellers and Solution Architects.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical discovery sessions, and on-site visits (up to 25% travel) to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to create a winning strategy for each pursuit.
• Support enterprise and data center opportunities (servers, storage, networking, and related infrastructure) in addition to end-user compute.
• Support Sales Representatives, Solution Architects, Customers and Distributors with technical questions.
• Assist Inside Presales in Technical/Administrative tasks.
• Understand customers’ mission needs and identify sales opportunities.
• Answer customers’ questions and provide additional information.
• Act as a technical resource to help the sales organization meet and exceed its objectives.
• Use vendor configuration tools and AI-assisted workflows to build solutions for customers and prospects:
  • Server, storage, and networking configurations
  • Laptop and desktop configurations
  • One-off part requests (cabling, transceivers, peripherals, monitors, etc.)
  • Cabling Diagrams
• Participate in training as required to meet overall objectives:
  • Remain current on new and competitive products, technology, and service offerings from both Epoch Concepts and vendors
  • System Administration duties on switches, routers, servers, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Must be eligible for security clearance.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, including to customer sites and military installations.
• Experience in an IT technical capacity, ideally in a customer-facing or presales role.
• Comfortable representing Epoch in front of customers.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience in Systems Architecture or technical role in projects.
• Familiarity with DoD customers, particularly the Air Force, Space Force, or Army, is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate technical work is a plus.
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is desired.
