Corporate Risk Management

The Commercial Risk Management Department is responsible for all things related to the property and casualty programs for Vantage Data Centers, globally. The team is also responsible for contract review and negotiations, claims management, lender due diligence, executive reporting, participating in enterprise risk management, and budget responsibilities.

Position Overview

This role is based in Denver, CO in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).

We are seeking a highly organized and a gile Insurance and Risk Management Coordinator to support our global commercial risk management and insurance operations. This role blends administrative management with hands‑on involvement in corporate insurance programs, supporting claims activity, and assisting in the identification and analysis of operational risks across international markets. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with internal stakeholders, brokers, and insurers to support the company’s global risk transfer and mitigation strategies .

Previous risk management and/or property and casualty insurance experience is a must .

Essential Job Functions

Insurance Program Administration

  • Assist in the management of global insurance programs, including builders’ risk, owner-controlled insurance program, property, casualty, liability, auto, and executive risk lines.
  • Coordinate annual insurance renewals, including data collection, exposure analysis, and submission preparation across regions.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and broker correspondence.
  • Review of certificates of insurance to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Consult with brokers and insurers to resolve coverage questions and support underwriting requests.

Administrative & Coordination Duties

  • Maintain and organize risk and insurance documentation related to both operational and construction, including claims logs, policy schedules, and insurance invoices.
  • Coordinate risk-related meetings with global teams and outside stakeholders, including scheduling, agenda creation, minute-taking, and action tracking.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support the development and maintenance of risk management policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding document sharing.

Claims & Incident Support

  • Track insurance claims globally, including intake, documentation, coordination with adjusters, and internal reporting.
  • Assist in compiling claims data and preparing summaries for leadership and insurers.
  • Support post-incident analysis and documentation for lessons learned and future mitigation.

Additional Duties

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, or a related administrative support role.
  • Experience with construction insurance is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with risk or insurance management systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5-10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
