Legal Assistant – Bilingual (Spanish Preferred) – Colorado
Location: On-site – Denver, Colorado
We’re hiring a Legal Assistant to support our legal team with document preparation, filing motions, coordinating office operations, and conducting legal research related to Family Law matters. Responsibilities- Communicate with clients to gather information regarding their legal issues
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and attending client meetings
- Coordinate law office activities, such as drafting subpoenas and liaising with process servers
- Manage administrative tasks, including answering phones and maintaining an organized legal filing system
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence, such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits
- Travel to courts, attorney offices, and other locations within Colorado as needed
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal services under the supervision of an attorney or within a law firm setting
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus (bilingual proficiency is preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Salary range: $20–$24 per hour
