Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an associate with 5-10 years of experience working with both union and non-union workplaces to support positive labor relations, provide advice and counseling, and defend litigation and administrative charges.

This role will include advising employers on traditional labor matters, including union negotiations, collective bargaining, grievance, and arbitration issues as well as handling employment litigation and counseling. Experience advising clients as to employment law compliance, policies and procedures, employment contracts, discipline, terminations, reductions in force, and wage and hour audits as well as conducting workplace investigations is preferred.

• JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
• 5-10 years of labor and employment experience, with extensive labor experience including union matters, labor relations, advice and counseling, defense litigation and administrative charges
• Litigation experience including claims involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, accessibility, and non-compete and confidentiality agreements
• Current admission to practice law in Colorado
• Strong analytical and communication skills
