** Location & Schedule
** This position reports on site at the Republic Plaza building located at 370 17th St., Denver, CO 80202, Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

** What You'll Do
** As the Deputy District Attorney duties will include:
* Managing a Domestic Violence docket within the Domestic Violence Unit and meeting with survivors and family members
* Appearing in court on assigned docket days, partnering with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies to successfully serve survivors and build criminal cases
* Assisting victims of domestic violence and their families through the criminal justice system
* Performing other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney

Minimum Qualifications

* Education requirement:
Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree
* Experience Requirement:
Three (3) years of experience as an attorney of law with experience in Domestic Violence
* Education/Experience Equivalency:
No substitution of experience for education is permitted.
* License/
Certifications:
Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court at the time of application
