IP Litigation Associate Attorney (Patents)
We are looking for a Junior Level Patent Litigation Associate with 2‑4 years of patent litigation experience and an engineering degree (preferably in mechanical, electrical, materials, or aerospace engineering). USPTO registration is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities- Prepare and file patent infringement filings and motions; develop legal strategies for patent cases.
- Write briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Represent clients in court appearances and depositions.
- Conduct legal research, analyze evidence, and conduct issue resolution.
- Manage multiple cases and competing deadlines concurrently.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external counsel and clients.
- Support business development initiatives and demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal education and admission to practice law.
- 2‑4 years of experience in patent litigation.
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and issue‑resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize competing demands.
- Strong teamwork and client‑service orientation.
- Willingness to travel for court appearances and depositions.
- Salary range: $150,000 – $240,000, plus annual merit‑based bonus.
