Miletich PC, recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the Best Law Firms in America, seeks a litigation paralegal. Miletich PC is a defense law firm primarily practicing in the areas of employment; professional liability; insurance defense litigation; and commercial litigation.
Candidates must have strong communication and writing skills and be willing to perform some administrative duties. Trial preparation and case management experience is preferred, including experience with discovery, pleadings, motions, document production, and deposition preparation. Must have strong written and oral communication skills to engage with attorneys, clients and opposing counsel. Proficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, Adobe, electronic billing, e-filing and federal and state court rules is also preferred.
Compensation Details:
Anticipated pay range is $25-$40 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
- Civil Litigation experience with a defense firm and trial experience, preferred
- Obtain, review, and analyze relevant documents and records, including medical, financial, tax, and employment
- Experience billing time
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Dependable team player
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree, with significant litigation experience
