A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will represent design professionals such as architects, engineers, and surveyors in cases involving professional negligence claims. The role involves handling contract disputes related to design changes, construction defects, and bodily injury or wrongful death claims.
Duties- Manage pre-trial work including motion practice and discovery.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses for case preparation.
- Conduct trials in federal, state, or tribal courts, and participate in arbitration.
- Engage with insurance carriers and manage coverage issues.
- Experience in construction law representing design professionals.
- Proven litigation skills in contract and negligence claims.
- Experience in federal, state, or tribal court trials and arbitration.
- Prior experience at a reputable law firm is preferred.
- A portable book of business is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to case management.
