Reports to VP, Demand Generation

We are seeking a strategic and revenue-focused Sr. Director to join our team. This is a "builder" role for a leader who understands that Partner Marketing is not just about relationships—it is a primary engine for Demand Generation.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Demand Generation & Partner Ecosystem Strategy
    • Pipeline Engine: Operate Partner Marketing as a primary demand generation channel. Drive measurable growth in Partner Sourced (net new) and Partner Influenced (deal acceleration) pipeline.
    • Global Ecosystem Management: Own the global marketing strategy across all partnership tiers:
      Global System Integrators (GSIs), Regional SIs, Tech Partnerships, and Strategic Alliances (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Partner Mapping & Vertical GTM: With the Alliances team, develop and maintain a comprehensive Partner Mapping function. Systematically map all GTM partners by Product Cloud and Industry Vertical. Oversee the Public Sector/Gov GTM strategy, ensuring partners are equipped with FedRAMP-specific messaging and aligned with our Government sales team.
  • Leadership of Customer Advocacy & Evangelism
    • Strategic Oversight of Customer Storytelling: Guide and empower the Customer Advocacy function to maintain a robust "Customer Stories Engine." Ensure the team is producing high-impact assets (case studies, testimonials) that align with broader GTM themes, while focusing on strategy for distributing these stories across Partner and Demand channels.
    • Executive Sponsor for Speaker Bureau: Provide strategic direction on which customers are nominated for tier-1 stages (Dream force, World Tours). Leverage cross‑functional view to prioritize customers who support our most critical up‑market and partner‑led deals.
    • Voice of the Customer (VoC) Integration: Act as the executive bridge, ensuring insights gathered by Advocacy team regarding customer pain points and wins are effectively communicated to the VP level and integrated into the global marketing narrative.
  • Cross‑Functional Messaging & Alignment
    • Unified Messaging: Lead coordination of partner messaging. Collaborate deeply with Alliances and Product Marketing to ensure "Better Together" stories are technically accurate, market‑relevant, and consistent across all channels.
    • Integrated Campaigns: Ensure partner marketing is not siloed. Integrate partner motions into broader Global Demand Gen campaigns, activating partners in field events, digital programs, and ABM strategies.
    • Partner Communications & Content: Own timing and distribution for partner communications. Manage editorial calendar for Alliances and Partner Newsletters, ensuring consistent mindshare. Oversee creation of tactical enablement assets, including one‑pager decks, joint battle cards, and sales decks.
  • Operational Excellence & Team Leadership
    • Build & Lead: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high‑performing Partner Marketing team. Foster a culture of empathetic leadership, collaboration, and a "One Team" mentality.
    • 100% Budget Accuracy: Own the global partner marketing budget and MDF with precision. Ensure distinct tracking of spend and strict adherence to quarterly targets, aiming for 100% spend utilization.
    • Project Management Rigor: Instill culture of flawless execution for all tactics in the funnel – such as partner webinars, joint events, customer stories, and content launches. Ensure clear workback schedules and timely delivery.
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics
    • Executive Visibility: Own reporting cadence for partner channel. Deliver concise reports and strategy to executive team, highlighting leads generated, pipeline contribution, and ROI on MDF spend.
