Job Description

Join the team at Balfour at Central Park as the Care Services Director
! The Care Services Director manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.

What will I do every day?
  • Complete accurate and regular resident assessments
  • Determine the appropriate level of care
  • Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
  • Supervise and administer all resident medications
  • Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
  • Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
  • Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
  • Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing
  • Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
  • Hire and train care team associates
  • Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
What will I need to be successful in this role?
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience
  • BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
  • Experience in working with seniors
  • Resident Care Director experience / Director of Nursing experience
  • Ability to work weekends and/or nights as needed
Special Requirements /

Certifications:
  • Licensed as RN, LVN/LPN required
  • CPR Certified
  • First Aid Certified
  • Universal Precautions trained
