Industrial Manufacturing Engineer
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
An established and innovative manufacturing company is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join its team. This organization specializes in designing and producing high-quality products used across various industries.
Job SummaryThe Industrial Engineer will play a key role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, reducing waste, and driving productivity improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience with lean manufacturing principles, data analysis, and process optimization. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Collaborate on product development, manufacturing improvements, quality management, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Modify and maintain parts and assembly drawings.
- Analyze production data and product specs to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Participate in product design, material selection, CAD development, and documentation.
- Apply statistical analysis to determine efficient processes and production standards.
- Support quality control and resolve production challenges to improve output and reliability.
- Design layout and fixtures to improve workflow and consistency.
- Provide estimates of resources and time required to meet objectives.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform time studies to analyze and optimize process flow.
- Contribute to compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling (Solid Works preferred) and 2D drafting (Draft Sight preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred.
- Experience working with NSF< ETL< UL or other regulatory standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or on the production floor.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Moderate travel may be required for inter-site visits or training.
