5-axis Programmer

Overview

We’re hiring an experienced 5‑Axis CNC Programmer to support complex, tight‑tolerance machining in a modern job‑shop / aerospace‑style environment. This is a hands‑on programming role, not a desk‑only position. You’ll own challenging 5‑axis programs, support the floor, and work closely with machinists to dial in processes.

We’re CAM‑agnostic — if you’re strong in any professional CAM package, we care more about your understanding of 5‑axis machining than the specific software.

$35.00/yr - $55.00/yr

• Program complex 5‑axis CNC parts from solid models and prints
• Support setup, prove‑outs, and first‑article runs on the floor
• Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, and part quality
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and leadership
• Work with prototype and short‑run production parts
• Maintain clear documentation and revision control

• 3+ years CNC machining experience (with strong 5‑axis exposure)
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixturing, and work holding
• Comfortable supporting the floor and troubleshooting issues
• Ability to read complex aerospace / tight‑tolerance prints

• Advanced 5‑axis work — no button‑pushing
• Modern machines and tooling
