Ready to get hands-on with the art of vinyl? Join the team at Paramount Pressing & Plating, where we bring music to life with precision, passion, and a little bit of heat. We’re looking for a Pressing Specialist to operate our vinyl presses and help us produce high-quality records that look and sound incredible. This isn’t your typical factory job—it’s a blend of craft, machinery, and music.
As a Pressing Specialist, you’ll work in a fast-paced production environment where no two records are the same. You’ll be on your feet, in the mix, and at the center of it all—making sure every press run hits our high standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and monitor vinyl pressing machines like a pro—keeping things running smoothly
- Inspect records for quality, catching defects like warps, oil spots, scratches, or non-fill before they leave the floor
- Install and remove stampers, align molds, and fine-tune pressing conditions
- Troubleshoot and solve production issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Accurately complete press logs and quality documentation
- Work closely with other departments—like plating and packaging—to keep the production flow tight
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing environment (vinyl experience is a big plus)
- Mechanical know-how and the confidence to troubleshoot on the fly
- Familiarity with pressing equipment like Pheenix Alpha or Viryl is a huge bonus
- Solid attention to detail—you’ll need to spot small issues that impact quality
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 55 lbs, and work in a high-heat environment
- A team player who can keep pace, shift gears when needed, and stay focused under pressure
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required if you’ve got the skills)
Schedule & Requirements:
- Full-time, on-site position in Denver, CO
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (occasional overtime or weekends as needed)
- Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance
