HP Indigo Printing Press Operator

Overview

HP Indigo Printing Press Operator at American Tape and Label. This role operates printing presses that inspect and/or rewind large label rolls. The operator will be able to run multiple presses and train between presses that rewind labels, HP Indigo presses, and a laser press that cuts stickers. The position includes opportunities for growth within the press department. No experience is required, but HP Indigo certifications are a plus.

You will be filling orders according to production tickets and will interact with the shipping department as needed. A 90-day training period applies to all positions.

• Operate printing presses and associated equipment (including HP Indigo presses, laser cutter, and die cutter) to produce labels/stickers.
• Fill orders according to production tickets; ensure accuracy and quality control for printed labels.
• Package labels and prepare for shipping; communicate with the shipping department as needed.
• Handle lifting of boxes ranging from 1 lb to 45 lbs.
• Cross-train across multiple presses and assist with training other operators.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area; comply with company policies.

• No experience required; HP Indigo certifications are a plus.
• Education:
  
  Associate degree preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to commute to Denver, CO 80216; relocation before starting work required.
• Must be able to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks as described.

• Shift A:
  Sunday to every other Wednesday
• Shift B:
  Every other Wednesday to Saturday
• Weekday shifts: 12-hour shifts from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 10-hour shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Sunday: 10-hour shift from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Hours per week: 40

• Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
