CNC Machinist III

Complex parts. 5-axis machining. AS9100 aerospace shop. Four-day workweek. Up to $40/hr.

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist III who can take ownership of complete setups and complex precision work.

This is not an operator-only position. You’ll work on challenging aerospace and defense components in a high-mix precision machining environment.

Pay: Up to $40/hr DOE

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM. Four 10-hour shifts.

• Complete CNC mill setups from start to finish
• Set tooling, fixtures, work holding, and offsets
• Work with multi-axis and 5-axis CNC mills
• Produce and inspect first articles
• Adjust speeds, feeds, offsets, and machining parameters
  
  Troubleshoot chatter, tool wear, dimensional issues, and finish problems
• Read complex blueprints and GD&T
• Perform in-process inspection

• Strong CNC milling setup and operation experience
• Ability to independently handle complex setups
• Multi-axis or 5-axis milling experience preferred
• Aerospace, defense, or tight-tolerance machining experience preferred
• Strong blueprint, GD&T, and precision inspection skills
• Experience machining aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel, or similar materials is a plus
