The Residential Coordinator for the Senior Women’s Shelter is directly responsible for the management of the facility during their shift, service provision for participants, assisting residents in maintaining their stay and obtaining community housing upon exit. The program is a 24‑hour shelter serving 25 unaccompanied senior women and 3 unaccompanied veterans. The coordinator supports and coordinates the Residential Case Manager in delivering appropriate housing stability and support services, ensuring client needs are met, maintaining safety and wellbeing of all 28 residents, facility cleanliness, life‑skill classes, client files and program data entry/maintenance.
The coordinator has expertise in mental health services and may develop specialty areas such as housing, employment, legal services, benefits, or others as indicated by program needs.
- Associate’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience in human services.
- One year of direct human service experience.
- Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.
- Complete program credentialing process, including criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
- Willing to obtain first aid, automated external defibrillator, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications.
$18.81 – $20.00 per hour. Based on experience + $1.00 more per hour for working overnight.
