The Community Resilience Manager (CRM) will support the implementation and development of various and diverse projects under the Community Health Programs which aims at achieving environmental justice for our most vulnerable communities. This position will lead the effort to intentionally and meaningfully connect with the community while also providing solutions to everyday environmental health issues. The goal of this position is to work towards achieving environmental justice through immediate and tangible projects in partnership with residents and the broader community.
This position will report to the Green Infrastructure Director (GID). This position will support GWD’s mission in diverse ways, including community outreach and engagement. This position will be key in developing a Resident Advisory group that will empower community leaders and residents to take action on climate change and policy and shape GWD’s programs.
