The Attendant is a person specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of care to the IHSS client in their residence under the direction, instruction and supervision of qualified Agency personnel/Agency’s Licensed Health Care Professional. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and/or the IHSS Clinical Program Manager.

** Duties/Responsibilities:
*** Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures
* Understands and promotes client rights
* Performs client services in accordance with the plan of care and Agency policy
* Completes appropriate service notes completely, accurately and in a timely manner as per Agency policy
* Reports changes in the client’s condition and needs to the supervisor
* Participates in all required orientation, training, competency and in-service programs as scheduled and necessary per Agency policy
* Is available for and participates in the supervisory visits per Agency direction
* Participates in coordination of client care, as required##
** Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
*** 18 years of age or older##
