Vighter is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at the Office of Community Care (OCC) in Glendale, Colorado. As a Case Manager / Utilization Review Nurse, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and reviewing healthcare services for veterans, ensuring they receive timely, high-quality care through the VA network.

What You’ll Do- Conduct clinical reviews of medical records to determine the appropriateness, level, and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-up care for veterans within the VA and community care network.
- Apply evidence-based guidelines and utilization criteria to evaluate the necessity of services.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Support preventive health programs, immunizations, and patient education when needed.
- Ensure documentation complies with VA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and care delivery efficiency.
- Active, unrestricted RN license (Colorado or compact state).
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience within the past 3 years — Case Management, Utilization Review, or Primary Care preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, care coordination, and medical necessity guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Experience with VA systems or government healthcare programs a plus.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (BSN preferred).
