SalaryRange
$36.00 /hr – $45.00 /hr (based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under physician supervision.
- Maintain knowledge of drug reimbursement procedures and complete all chemotherapy charge forms.
- Secure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms before administering therapies.
- Demonstrate proficiency with ambulatory infusion pump use, including cleaning and documentation.
- Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient labs and consulting protocols or physicians.
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheters.
- Administer medications with correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
- Provide patient and caregiver instruction on pump usage at home.
- Document nursing assessments, patient teaching, fluid and medication administration in the patient chart.
- Communicate pertinent information and interventions to the physician.
- Triage patient phone calls and record relevant information in the chart.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Licensed RN with current registration in the State Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Committed to maintaining continuing education requirements.
Minimum two years of nursing experience is required; oncology experience is preferred.

Physical RequirementsFull range of motion, ability to handle and lift patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifts up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
