Must-Have:
- Outpatient clinic experience
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those seeking STI/sexual health services
- Knowledge of common STIs and experience supporting STI testing, treatment, education, and follow-up
- Strong current phlebotomy skills; should be comfortable performing blood draws independently and routinely
- Strong injection/vaccine administration experience, including IM and SQ injections
- Experience administering medications by injection, preferably including Depo-Provera and IM antibiotics
- Experience administering vaccines and completing appropriate screening/documentation
- Strong phone triage skills, including symptom assessment, determining urgency, providing education, and escalating appropriately
- Comfortable discussing sensitive sexual health topics in a professional, nonjudgmental manner
- Strong patient education skills related to medications, STI prevention/treatment, testing, follow-up, and safer-sex practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy ambulatory/clinic environment
- Experience supporting the MA and RN team
