Clients start with medically supervised detox and 24/7 monitoring from an experienced medical team, ensuring safer, comfortable withdrawal management—the essential first step toward lasting recovery. From detox and residential inpatient care, clients can transition seamlessly into our full continuum of services.
We coordinate next-step planning early, so each client knows what comes next and why—every step of care. Our integrated medical and clinical program treats the whole person, addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual effects of addiction, strengthening stability, resilience, and long-term healing.
- This is specifically an overnight position, which is 6:00pm to 6:30am.
- The weekly schedule for this position is Thursdays to Sundays.
- Additional schedule options may be available.
- Responsible for all nursing related services for each patient and for linking patients to the physicians and to outside medical resources.
- Participates in the Interdisciplinary Team Meetings when necessary to inform the clinical team about medical issues and is available for emergency medical situations.
- Provides all services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The Nurse is responsible for providing medical & history screens, providing routine nursing care, and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.
- Member of the Treatment Team and provides input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan.
Qualification and Licensure Requirements
- Prior mental health or substance abuse nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) that is valid in the State of Colorado. This can be a Colorado issued and/or multistate compact license.
- Prior experience in addiction care/recovery and/or psychology/mental health treatment is highly preferred.
- Recent graduates who are interested in detox and/or psych are encouraged to apply, not just career addiction nurses (experience beyond clinical rotations is preferred, but not required).
