American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact license and ACLS/NIH certification.

• Work in the Cardiovascular Care Unit (IMC) of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic EMR used for charting

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS required, none expiring prior to start
• TNCC certification preferred
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac telemetry patients
• Perform health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic/restorative treatment
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans and document per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abide by service behavior standards
• Returning employees must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results, with drug screening required within 24 hours of commitment
