Pre Op Registered Nurse Days

Location:

This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practices, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within a Pre Op setting. The position requires delivering supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, promoting patient well-being, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 9 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Bachelors degree of Nursing is preferred.
• Responsibilities include performing health assessments, patient education, treatment, and therapy, referring patients for further evaluation if needed, monitoring therapy plans, maintaining documentation per guidelines, and promoting the organizations mission, vision, and values.
• The candidate may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
• This assignment is only an 8-week period and does not require call or holiday coverage.
