Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification as appropriate for unit or service
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans and document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
