You must have an active Colorado RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least two years of recent acute care emergency room experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are required.
Experience with electronic medical record systems is recommended. Skills in rapid assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication are important for success in this role.
